At 10Februari, IU received his appointment as honorary ambassador for preventing and combating violence at school.
Letter of appointment given by the National Police Agency Seoul. After receiving the letter of appointment, IU stated,
"Being a person who is appointed to this position gives me a sense of responsibility. I will do my best to work with schools and the students and the authorities to ensure that young people have the ability to enjoy school and to be able to go to school safely. "IU is selected as an honorary ambassador because he has a familiar image. The police department also hopes that this will start a violence prevention program for schools nationwide.
Violence in schools is something we expect to continue to fall. IU may help a little.
